For a larger project at Essent We have, among other things, built an artificial intelligence robot. The project involves integrating live chat on the website with both employees and an AI robot. It also includes CRM integration to capture survey data.
In doing so we used, among other things, Google's Neural Network for natural language. A robust API that Google itself also uses and that has a high capability to interpret the content of a conversation. NetCare had to add extensive functionality, such as self‑learning and a handy feature especially useful in chat that provides links about products and services, so you quickly get the right information. The learning logic is still a work in progress and primarily requires a large amount of data to analyze.
The applications of our robot are extensive, and we see many opportunities to advance this subject. We are currently building our own chatbot for our MyVox demo site that can assist interested users. In the long term we want the robot to be able to speak and become a pleasant and effective conversational partner that is always helpful, never gets tired, and knows everything about the company, its products, and its employees.
We have now further developed the artificial intelligence robot and integrated it into various websites; it assists with programming and serves as a full‑time translator.
